The Snavely Company is committed to providing a safe workplace to our employees, owners and subcontractors. We accomplish this by placing safety as one of our highest priorities in order to provide a work environment that maximizes health, wellness, and safety.

We take great pride in implementing our Corporate Safety Policy, which includes initial training during orientation, continued education, consistent training conducted in weekly jobsite meetings, required 10-hour OSHA Training Course, and a 30-hour OSHA Training Course.

Our project supervisors are constantly monitoring safety on our jobsites. We conduct project safety audits through Lancaster Safety Consulting to validate our own safety compliance. On every Snavely project, we also hold our subcontractors to the same high safety standards that we implement ourselves.

Elements of The Snavely Company’s Safety Program:

  • Project-specific safety plans
  • Daily checklists and walk-throughs by the on-site safety officer, the Project Superintendent 
  • Weekly on-site safety meetings 
  • Continual safety training for all employees 

The Snavely Company also conducts pre-hire and post accident / injury drug testing for all employees and is enrolled in the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation Drug-free Workplace Program.
